Freaky Friday
Ooookay, for the record: I love you, Mom! Forever. You are the best mother in the world and will always think so.

First you are truly happy that I've found friends with the help of LJ and you want to know how LJ works. Although you totally suck at HTML and pc stuff in general.

Then you see the vids I made and start to show your shippy side (which I really, really like -> Shweir is choco love ^-^). You surprise me with my own domain so I can upload my vids for everyone. That was already fantastic!

But now you rocked my world: We talked about the account types of LJ and as I said that I'd love to have a paid account you said: "Ok, go to the bank and get yourself a credit card, honey. See it as your too early b-day present."

My reaction: :O

You: "No, I mean it."

Mom, I so ♥ you for it <3

Wheeee, johnliz4ever is back from her school-day. Welcome to the world of love and friendship. I missed you and I'm sending you lots of ♥ and hugs and snuggles and kisses and shippyness and Torri-love and John/Elizabeth-love!!!

Did you know that one can make gifts to her friends? Maybe I'll make gifts when I get my paid account *hints, hints*

Yay, such a cool girl, my mom *looks proud*

Try the I-have-to-grow-up-and-that-works-only-if-I-get-my-own-credit-card-way. With a big, big pleeeeeze ;)
My Strength Will Make You Cryclaudiasharon on September 2nd, 2005 08:46 pm (UTC)
Lol. I'm kinda happy with my debit card...credit cards scare me. Unless my parents are paying for them...
Mercymercscilla on September 2nd, 2005 11:06 pm (UTC)
That's ok. Actually the money for the card comes from my mom but don't tell the others *grins*

Wow, your mum is awesome. Just plain awesome.

My mum just thinks me and my sister are waaay too obsessed with the internet! (As if! .... well, maybe ;))
Mercymercscilla on September 2nd, 2005 11:12 pm (UTC)
Thankx *beams*

Well, ok, I have to admit, sometimes she says my obsession with the internet is a little creepy *grins* but she's cool with it ^-^
asunshinesky on September 3rd, 2005 12:13 am (UTC)
Wow. That's so cool. My mom doesn't even know what livejournal is. To get a paid account I had to send the cash through the mail and pray that it didn't get lost. And I couldn't tell her about it because I just knew that she wouldn't get it. Lol, had a whole story planned if she asked me what I was mailing. Luckily she didn't ask.
Mercymercscilla on September 3rd, 2005 01:39 pm (UTC)
Thanx ♥

Huh, that's very adventurous ;) Should you ever need help with it, just say it. I love being a partner-in-crime ^-^

You're just trying to make those of us jealous whose Moms still think that we're nuts. *glare*

The funny thing is that my Mom thinks I'm nuts, but when ever my Granny or someone tells her that I'm spending way too much time in front of my computer my Mom starts attacking them, telling them how many friends I found via internet and that this is my way of 'going-out' and making friends.

A yeah... long story's short, your Mom is really very cool. Make sure you tell her that.

Oh, and about the ICE incident the other day... *blush*
Mercymercscilla on September 3rd, 2005 01:47 pm (UTC)
*looks sheepish* Didn't mean to do that *sniff* Sorry <3

Yep, mothers have this I'm-the-only-one-that's-allowed-to-attack-my-child-gene. Sometimes it's really cool but sometimes... it sucks *grins*

Told her and she actually blushed. Cute ^-^

*ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg*
Nessanessaja82 on September 4th, 2005 01:06 pm (UTC)
That's cute. She blushed? Really cute.

Yep, my Mom has a pretty large portion of this gene... and my Dad has it as well. My Granny started her same old platitude the other day: 'I'm so worried 'bout Sarah. She never goes out and hasn't got a boyfriend.' My Dad told her that 'going-out' was only for the not so smart kids and that young people today - at least those capable of English - could more likely be found in chat rooms than in a disco. Unforunately I wasn't there. She never says stuff like that to my face. *glares at grandmother*
Mercymercscilla on September 4th, 2005 01:11 pm (UTC)
That's weird. my dad said the same a week ago or so to a friend of ours who thought it would be unhealthy for me to not go into the disco! Eh, hello? Unhealthy? Aren't the disco the ones who happen to sell lots of drinks and drugs. Not all but some (my bro had a problem some time ago).

And I have great friends *points a neon-sign at you*
Nessanessaja82 on September 4th, 2005 01:19 pm (UTC)
*blush* *hug*

It's just that no one in the so called 'real world' believes you when you say you found friends through the internet. I mean, I met Lori on a mailing list and I'm going to visit her next spring. Yay. A month in Florida with Lori.

Unhealthy! What do they know, hu? I've got few 'real life' friends, but I think they're enough. Only most of them live in another corner of NRW and we can't manage to meet every other day... and none of us is willing to drive a car ;)

Actually, I feel closer to many of the people I met online than to some of my so called friends in real life. Like Mona. We once were pretty good friends, but I guess the only thing keeping us together is our past. See... ever since she left school - she's two years older than me - we grew apart. Today we mostly mail each other. One mail in two months or so, although she lives only 5mins away. I talk to you far more often. So, why is it wrong if I say I met friends on the internet?

Let them call me a freak, I don't care!
Mercymercscilla on September 4th, 2005 01:24 pm (UTC)
I second that with all my heart!

Alex is the only one that's really my RL-friend. Who stayed by my side. All the others either just walked off or just disappeared *PLOP*

I walk most of the time... I love it. Weird I know but it helps me to find my inner peace again after one day in hell aka my family *grins*

*huggles* You know, we gonna meet next year, too *wheeee* We so gonna rock it, girl <3 And I already know that you're going to be one of my best RL friends! LJ helped us ♥ and we're going to keep in contact cause of LJ ;D
Nessanessaja82 on September 4th, 2005 01:35 pm (UTC)
Definitely. Yeah, and I'm probably meeting berryfizz as well next year when she comes over to Germany. That's so cool. She's from Germany but lives in Saudi Arabia and chances are she'll be over for her birthday. We weren't able to work it out this year, but we might be able to next. YAY.

See, I consider Annika to be my only real RL friend. We hardly see each other during our breaks at university, but she's always there when I need her. And, as weird as it sounds, my Mom is a good friend as well. Even though she doesn't understand what I'm talking about most of the time... like when I tell her about some post I read on LJ, or explain to her the purpose of icons, she listens to all of it and tries to give me advice.

And ARE we gonna rock it. The palace will fear us. ^-^

Thanks a lot. I so second that. *hugs* We'll get along great, how could we not? Cause after all, RL isn't that much different than LJ.

*sigh* As much as I'd love to continue this conversation right now, my Mom is calling. Something about cake - choco/cherry? - in the garden... *drool*

Mercymercscilla on September 4th, 2005 07:09 pm (UTC)
*grins* Have fun, cherrie! *massive choco-love attack*

I was kidnapped from the pc by my sisters *sigh* No one was home except us and they wanted to play 'Model' *ahhhhhhh* I need a bed and a pillow to sream into...

I love to cheer people up. Is my secret hobby *goes to cheer herself up* Lalalalala...
