'Hell' Trailer & other movies

Been busy this week with renovating the old office (I never knew that wallpapers could be so resisting...) and missed tons of awesome new sci-fi stuff for upcoming movies (and movies coming next year).

Among them is the German sci-fi movie Hell (start 22nd September) produced by none other than Roland Emmerich. \o/

I'm not so interested in The Hunger Games (starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson) but that's just me (maybe) though I'm going to watch the movie when it comes out - even if it's just to make my sister happy. ;)

For me it's more Battleship (starring Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna) and The Darkest Hour (starring Rachael Taylor, Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby). Alien Invasion, anyone? It's not like we have enough of them already (Skyline, Battle Los Angeles, Cowboys and Aliens, Falling Skies. It's getting cramped on Earth, that's for sure).

Then we have the underdog alien invasion called Attack the Block (starring Nick Frost, Jodie Whittaker, John Boyega, Alex Esmail). Local teen gang versus peeved icky aliens. We shall see. Ahem.

Oh, and there is one alien invasion coming in 2013: Pacific Rim (starring Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi) paired with Transformers-like robots. My cup exactly.

Not so alien-ish is the remake of Judge Dredd (starring Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, Lena Headey, Jason Cope). Hands up, who else did a double take when you read Urban and snickered? xD

No alien at all has Snow White & the Huntsman (starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin). So far I liked every Snow White movie and I really hope it will be the same with this one. :D
