Absence makes the heart grow fonder. It's actually true. RL and family kept me quite busy but I think the worst is over for now. *crosses fingers* When your sisters' future is on the line, everything else is pretty much not-so-important. Gah. Let's hope it was worth it... ♥ I MISSED YOU ALL! *squishes*

On the fandom front, I was quite suprised to find myself with only two current fandoms (SGU & V). O_o The other tv shows leave me cold. :/

And when they aired Star Wars Episode 2 yesterday, I found myself with an OTP I never expected to like. (I blame my current lack of new fandoms for that. *nods*)

Obi-Wan and Padme. \O/

I know it's like one of the seven sins of SW but I can't help myself. Little Anakin in SW-E1 was not my favourite and neither is older Anakin. Partly because I'm not a fan of the actor(s). :P

At least I do not seem to be alone... <3

From what I've found on the net, they truely are. :D

In particular the supposed-to chemistry in TPM that GL wanted but then never played out. *sigh* Too bad. It would have added a nice twist.

OT: You icon! Such a sneaky way to ship them. Star Trek makes it possible. xD

Oh my, I am so glad! :D Even though they don't have many scenes, the ones where they are together have more chemistry than A/P thoughout the whole series. <3

why is Obi-Wan/ Padme a sin? I actually like them better then Padme / Anakin.
I hate Anakin. I think most Warsler do. *lol* I can't believe he's going to be Dath Vader. Vader is soo cool! they ruined him *grr*

I stumbled over a few forums where the OW/P fans get bashed like you wouldn't believe it. O_o

I would like A/P better if it were for another actor. He really did completely ruin the awesomeness that is DV in the later episodes. But this way, I am a OW/P fan through and through. It would have been great to see a few scenes with them in TPM when she was pretending to be a handmaiden. ^^

Well I don't really get into the SW fandom. Never been to the sub-forum in the sff (http://www.scifi-forum.de/), but I can't believe that there is so much resentment for one pairing. I hate it when people can't accept other people's OTP. I mean I hate certain pairings and I am not much/often for shipping anyway but still.

Not only the the actor (didn't like either) but also the writing. Anakin is simply dislikable. That brat, I could have kicked him and Anakin I want to suffocate with my bare hands or better beat him to death. That's how much I dislike him.
but ah well Obi-Wan makes it worth watching the new films *g*

I'm not active in any forums and just skipped past them in search of anything OW/P (very desperate here. *lol*) and was really annoyed at the amount of anti-ness I found. O_o

With lots of friends I have maybe one pairing in common that's okay. Just because I can't stand their other pairings, I have to bash them like crazy. I'm just glad that LJ got it own communities where the ones that ship/like the couple/person are all on their own. <3

If we could, we would poke him out of the movies. *rotfl* It's like Tyler from V 2009... HIT HIM, HIT HIM!!! xD

Obi-Wan is like sex on legs. Maybe the beard could go but otherwise, I'm envious of Padme. *grins*

Our forum is wonderful. No bashing allowed. if you attack other user you get kicked. And there are discussions and not pages and pages of entries like "he is so hot!!! I want his child." That's forbidden as well. you may state why you like that character because you can discuss that.
I have been in a few forums and the SFF is the best I have found. I am there every since I got Internet over 9 years ago. And it's not only about SciFi but you can discuss almost anything (as long as you find people who reply to your topic).

I don't know V. Doesn't interest me.

*hehe* yeah Ewan McGregor is wonderful.

Ich hab nichts gegen Anakin und fand die beiden eigentlich ganz süß, aber Obi-Wan fand ich trotzdem besser. Was vielleicht auch ein wenig an Ewan McGregor liegt. *gg* Ich find es immer bescheuert wenn Fans andere Fans fertig machen weil die was anderes mögen. Einfach nicht davon beeidrucken lassen. *smile*

Obi Wan/Padme? Very interesting. I've never heard of that one. I'm a huge fan of Obi Wan's wisdom and amazingness, but ever since episode III, I never much liked Padme because she came from the strong, intelligent woman to a whiny, pregnant weak woman. :( Ah. But I'd love to hear your thoughts on the pair!

Ah yes not a Hayden Christensen fan and the younger actor I don't know to me he didn't fit the part or maybe that was just me. But for some reason I just can't hop on board of the obi-wan/padme train. But yay for finding a new ship... welcome back your other posts were too few and far between.
