My weekend or How I survived two days with 35 kids
So, I'm back from the kids-jungle. Some of you may know that friday evening/night we had hard rain. Really hard rain cause we got flooded. Three times *headdesk*. We were able to stop the water every time, only our entrancehall got a little wet. Finally at 3 am the rain died down and I went to bed. So damn tired. But at 6 am my mom screamed at me to get up and I was still tired *bangs head* cause we had to start at 7 am for our four-hours drive to the horse riding-school. Three weeks without my sisters. I don't know if I should be happy or sad...

Anyway, we drove for four hours and believe me, three 12-year-old kids make you want to jump out of the car. It was pure torture *argh*. At 11 am we were there and I was dragged away for planning the competitions and festivals *sigh* The 'rain-action' the night before had me forget to pack my camera *so stupid* but I've got the promo-shots of our horses ^-^ Well, I worked for 5 or 6 hours with the help of the kids and in the afternoon everything was finished. Looked really cool. We had fun and everyone was happy. My sister won second place in the artistic-competition. I'm so proud of you, honey!

Then later that evening I was able to escape to one of the new PCs around the place. Can you believe it? They just got them! Couldn't stay away from the ships (and I needed them soooo)! Some of your posts were so funny that I totally cracked up at them. Recieved strange looks from the others *hehe*
The camp-fire and hot(!) potatoas were great. It was a little chilly that evening and you really needed that and the hot chocolate *mmmm* We all went to bed at 1 am. And even then it wasn't quiet. We ate sweets and all this weird stuff we were able to find. I don't even know the names of some of these things... *is a little disturbed* Around 3 am (again) we just dropped dead and it was finally quiet. Kinda ^-^

I woke up at 5:30 am and just couldn't sleep anymore. Must have been the wonderful quietness of that moring. No screaming, no shouting, just mother nature and lil' old me. I took my horse and rode to one of the hills. It's so peaceful in the morning and I was lucky to watch one of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen *gets all dreamy at the memory* But half an hour later the silence was shattered as 10 kids kidnapped me for breakfast. Fresh backed bread and muffins and pannakes and juice and and and. Was heaven. At 10 am our festival began. Games and other activities. Won a teddy-bear (cliché, I know). The kids behaved for once and all was just perfect.

Until the weather changed and it began to rain *thud* I get that weird feeling that the rain has sth against me *thinks about it* Anyway, we run inside and had the time of our life. Fun. fun, fun *hehe* I snatched one of the PCs again and posted in the daily-comms. Played against one of the boys and won 13:8! YAY! My sisters and some of their friends backed cookies and cakes and I'm still full of them.

My dad and I started at 5 pm our ride home. Instead of my sister's trunks we had lots and lots of sweets. Tons of it. Five hours later I was home again, tired like hell. I actually fell asleep in the car and not once woke up. Dead like a stone ;)
So, that was my weekend. And now I'll just drop in my bed and sleep at least for 12 hours straight. I swear!

You know, I'm getting pretty envious about the part with riding in the sunrise.. *sigh* I miss horse-riding.
Seems like you had fun after all too. And good to know you're back without damage. *gg*

Yeah, it was fun despite all the screaming kids ^-^
I can only ride in the holidays and then it's only in spring and summer. Definitly not enough *sigh*

Back in one piece. YAY!!!
