That pilot got guts.
One plane. One river. And one hell of a pilot that landed his/her plane with 148 passengers safely on that river.

If the bird-story is true, the pilot is made of awesome. Seriously.

CNN and BBC are covering the story, in case you wanna watch.

I know he is truly made of awesomeness! That was just crazy what happened!

Definitely awesome. But this is why I don't fly anymore. Even a little bird can bring you down.

Wow, that is just amazing.

On the other side... crazy how a bird much smaller than any airplane can still bring it down.

Read it on the internet, but haven't seen pictures of it yet. And I'm too tired now... I think it will be the number one topic in the morning news :)

Sleep well!

I can't belive it! Its more impressive than when that pilot at heathrow who landed his plane with a double engine failiure without any deaths!

I've never heard of a successfull water landing before without deaths!

I know huh! I was impressed because I think they said there were no reported major injuries or deaths. Pilot made of win!

What I find odd about this is that turbines are supposed to be able to withstand direct hits from bird. They shouldn't have shut down ^^

But well, finally somebody who chose the right job *g* I'm totally fangirling him *g*
