Gah. Whatever.
The weather sucks.

Four days of intense sun fire - wiiiide open blue sky and hot, humid heat. It's the humid part that sucks. You touch a door handle and... hello - stickiness.

But now comes the bummer. Rain and mentioned conditions equals smelly fishbowl feeling. Yuck.

Bless my brother's room (coldest in the house). No blessing on himself. He's a guy. Which means in his case: I am MAN. Hear me roar. And get me pizza. Oh and could you wash my clothes, tidy the bathroom,...

Not. Cool. At All.

Gotta find a way to melt myself back together. And my sisters who are kinda sorta stuck to me. School holiday is a wonderful thing. *sarcasms*

(Woah, sticky melty weather makes icky, bitchy Mercy... Phew?!)

P.S. We did use waterguns in the house last weekend - wood and stone floors don't care. ^^
Current Mood lazy

Oh, I hope you feel better now. :D:D

It`s worse here in the Philippines.
One day it`ll be raining cats and dogs then the next it'd be scorching hot. :|:|:|

I do. Ice did alot to help. =D

Oh, boy, that sounds terrible! Did you ever get used to it? *huggles*
Margaret: glassesswirlylollipop on August 3rd, 2008 05:21 am (UTC)
Haha, I shall try ice next time. XDDD

As far as I know, nobody is used to it. =))))
Kidding. :>

Ice definitely helps to cool down. Even if it melts three times faster in this weather. =D

*lol* I don't think I could ever get used to it. I like my weather to be warm with a few chills thrown in. ^^

I will remember that. :)

I hate humidity! I love dry heat but I prefer 70 weather all the time.
lorettakaylorettakay on July 29th, 2008 08:26 pm (UTC)
you need to bring yourself and your sisters to Florida in July one year. Then you'll know heat and humidity. You go outside and it's like you're breathing water

But sorry the weather is so sucky for you. I know it'll cool off soon. :D

How can it be that u have the same weather as we do here in chi,IL and you are almost across the world?? I know the feeling and hate the heat + humidity. Heck I hate the heat would love it to be between 60F and 70F with about 10-20% humidity. its been 80F's + 60-90% humidity for weeks now only a few days where the weather was even bearable.
golly sandra, you've grown up really crazy: Hehe!gimmemypickle on July 29th, 2008 09:26 pm (UTC)

When guys get like that, I find smacking them on the nose with a newspaper does the trick. XD

Sounds a lot like here. Yeah, people are practically walking around naked. We need ice-cream, lots and lots of ice-cream. :D

I stopped reading after 'naked'. And to think that I didn't noticed my favourite food after that... the heat has messed around alot. =D

But seriously, it's either ice-cream or... ice-cream. Best choice ever. *g*

Ugh yeah tell me about it. Horseback riding has taken on a whole new stickiness. Cher (the horse) and me are mostly stuck together during the lesson. Hell she couldn't even throw me if she wanted to. ;-)

There is never a middle way. it's always hot or cold. Or rain...
Mercy: [Primeval] - Stephen/Abby - good timesmercscilla on July 30th, 2008 05:02 pm (UTC)
Oh, ewww. *snickers* Though you're right - she cannot throw you. Ever... =D

Whoopie. Such a wonderful choice.
Caiyene: crowcaiyene on July 30th, 2008 05:14 pm (UTC)
Nope. Then again she's a good horse and I don't think she would intentionally throw me. She doesn't go beyond trying to take an ocassional nip when I saddle her. (She really really hates her saddle)
Mercymercscilla on July 31st, 2008 03:52 pm (UTC)
Awww, I guess most horses hate the saddle. Do you ever ride without it? Or is that not safe? (I'm a complete noop when it comes to riding.)
Caiyenecaiyene on July 31st, 2008 07:05 pm (UTC)
Considering Cher and how fast she walks...that wouldn't be a good idea. I first need to really ride well in the western style. English style, yes. Than bareback would be awesome.
