Laptop Trouble  
Yesterday my laptop fried its left mouse button and the mouse pad.

I managed to make the pad work (part-time) again but the button is gone. Not working at all. Great. *headdesk*

That's just perfect. I'll probably won't be around much the next week until we find a solution cause working without the left button? It's hell.

I hope you will get your mouse pad & button fixed soon.I dunno about the laptops much,but have you tried to hook tablecomputers mouse on your laptop(if you got one?That mouse might wake up your laptop's mouses characteristics...

Tried that and it didn't do a thing. *sigh* Still no response.

Now I moed all functions from the left button to the right button and the left function (the short-cut menu) is no on the upper left corner of my mouse pad. Woohoo. ^^

Oh man that sucks.Well at least you managed to get your mouse pad working somehow,so that's something *nods*

If you can't get it fixed and are not scared to open the laptop up, you might want to either go on ebay or order from the manufacturer a new mouse to replace the old one.

Aww, when RL is a bitch then with a vengeance, huh? Maybe plugging in an ordinary mouse and using that instead of the touchpad helps for a while.

Well, try to have a good weekend anyway *huggles* You don't need that pesky left mouse button to watch Moonlight, right? ;)
