[G.I. Joe] Snake & Scarlett - WWII

Reality beats fiction. Sometimes. And not in a good way.

You know, I don't mind a bit of violence in a good story. I'm currently reading Sark/Sydney (Alias), Jareth/Sarah (Labyrinth) and of course Jack/Sam (Stargate SG1) stories in which some parts are not exactly kids-friendly. But in the grand scheme of things these "outbreaks of violence" belong to the fandom from the start, so I'm pretty okay with them.

This afternoon, Mom and I were doing each our thing (*lol* that sounds weird...) and when the Great Hunger hit us, we wanted to get sandwiches from Subway. Don't know why but we overthrew that idea and went for fruits. Yummy, too, so not a great loss.

Good thing we did cause about 40 people had a head-to-head with the police at the train station that houses the Subway. A really bad fight with blood and bruises. Seriously, people? O_o

Reality really beat fiction in that. Argh. *sigh*

Btw, lorettakay poked me so long till I gave in (*squishes*): I haz now Facebook. And I wish I could have started with a non-violence entry there but well, we can't change reality.

Aaaaaand I really, really should go to bed cause I have to get up at 6am...
