How to change 'comment lines', 'currents lines' and 'user/community icons'

I hope I get this right *rubs hands* My dearest coexist_love wanted to know how I get these little mini icons instead of the 'comment line', 'current mood/music' and 'standard user/community icon'.

Paid Accounts can use all three codes. Free Accounts only the one for 'standard user/community icon'.

- If you don't know what I mean, take a look at mercscilla.
- The mini icons are from http://www.famfamfam.com/

Changing the 'standard user/community icon'

You need: A stylesheet, one/two mini icons
Original code: found here
For: Free and paid accounts

The steps

01. Open your stylesheet and look for this part of the code

/* maincontent */

.subcontent {
}

02. Now take this new code

	.ljuser img {
		width: 0px;
		height: 0px;
		background-repeat: no-repeat;
	/*so that IE users will still see an image*/
		background-image: url(http://www.yoururl.com/littleman.gif);
		padding: 16px 16px 0px 0px;
		}

	.ljuser img[src="http://stat.livejournal.com/img/user.gif"] {
		background-image: url(http://www.yoururl.com/littleman.gif);
		padding: 16px 16px 0px 0px;
		}

	.ljuser img[src="http://stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif"] {
		background-image: url(http://www.yoururl.com/group.gif);
		padding: 16px 16px 0px 0px;
		}

03. Replace only the green urls with your own.

04. Change the padding properties to the one of your mini icon.

05. Put the code right after /* maincontent */

06. Save your stylesheet and voilá ^-^

Changing the 'comment line'

You need: A theme layer, one/two mini icons
Original code: found here
For: Paid accounts ONLY

The steps

01. Create a new theme layer (Look here for a how-to guide over at s2flexisquares) or skip this part if you already have one

02. Add this code to your theme layer

function CommentInfo::print_readlink {
    var Page p = get_page();
    """<a href="$.read_url">$.count <img src="URL_of_the_picture" alt="Comments" title="Comments" width="xx" height="xx" border="0" /></a>""";
}

function CommentInfo::print_postlink() {
    var Page p = get_page();
    if ($.maxcomments) {
        "$*text_max_comments";
    } else {
        """<a href="$.post_url"><img src="URL_of_the_picture" alt="Leave a comment" title="Leave a comment" width="xx" height="xx" border="0" /></a>""";
    }
}

03. Replace the image urls with your own.

04. Customize the other green parts as well if you want. I changed the 'Comments' and 'Leave a comment' lines to 'Aliens' and 'Poking'. You see that when you hover over the images.

05. Hit save&compile and voilá ;)

Changing the 'current mood/music line'

You need: A theme layer, one/two mini icons
Original code: found here and here
For: Paid accounts ONLY

The steps

01. Create a new theme layer (Look here for a how-to guide over at s2flexisquares) or skip this part if you already have one

02. Add this awesome override by kunzite1 to your theme layer

03. Look for this part of the override

      if ($k == "mood"){ # if mood, set text to mood property
        $text = $*text_meta_mood;
      }
      elseif ($k == "music") { # if music, set text to music property
        $text = $*text_meta_music;
      }

04. Now replace that code with this one

if ($k == "mood"){ # if mood, set text to mood property
        $text = """<img src=http://www.yoururl.com/mood.gif>""";
      }
      elseif ($k == "music") { # if music, set text to music property
        $text = """<img src=http://www.yoururl.com/music.gif>""";
}

05. Replace the green urls with your own

06. Hit save&compile and voilá ;)
