Book recommendation
Uh uh *eyes her cell* *shuts it down* *moves far away from cell*

I'm reading Stephen King's Cell - A Novel. For those who don't know the book, go here. BUT be warned. It is a bloody story with a bloody cover...

It's one of his best novels, methinks. You should read it. Just make sure, your cell is not near...

I've read this book recently !
Have you read King's "Desperation" ?
Mercy: Apple - blue applemercscilla on March 15th, 2006 03:12 pm (UTC)
No, it's going to be the next one on my list ;) but what I read about it, makes me shudder. There's a tv movie again, ain't there?

Reminds me of 'The Stand'. Best horro ever.

Oh, I saw that and was thinking of getting it.
What exactly is it about?

*Hides* Nooooooo! Stephen King's books are great, but thoroughly creepy... at times. x_x

It's like White Noise; I can't afford to be afraid of something I use everyday, lol.

Creepy like woah. Like in 'The Stand'... *cringe* but great nontheless ;)

That movie gave me some hard times. Couldn't turn on the tv without getting all twitchy.

Ohhhhh, need to read that sometime. IMO some of his best novels are 'Salem's Lot' and 'The Game'.

And well... that's the nice thing about Stephen King. Even if you think he could never scare you, he still manages.

I'm slowly collecting all his novels ;) Will note these!

Yeah, he's doing a damn great job at scaring you!

Sounds interesting, I'll have to take another trip down to the bookshop. :) The Pulse thing reminds me of Dark Angel...

Finished! Creepy. Read it by daylight and preferable with something sweet to keep you happy.

Dark Angel... a little bit. You're right ;)

I'm reading that at the moment! Should hopefully finish it this weekend! They've already started making it into a film but the guy who is directing it I hate his work! The movies he has directed have been ... TERRIBLE!
Mercy: Beka/Rhade - black with redmercscilla on March 15th, 2006 09:30 pm (UTC)
I finished it and WOAH! I will never look at my cell and technology in general the same *shudders* creepy, very creepy!

I hope the movie will be like the book and not different. Wouldn't be good to change everything.

I SO cannot read this book. I'm still having nightmares from a movie trailer for "Pulse". I love horror, apparently I can't handle it though. ;)
Mercy: Elizabeth - *sigh*mercscilla on March 15th, 2006 09:28 pm (UTC)
Uhm, does that movie has something to do with this book? Cause in German it's called exactly like the movie... *is confused*

Stephen King makes me scared of the most normal things. We've got this painting of a clown in our house that I'm absolutely terrified of after reading It. *shudder*
