I feel like a pin cushion. Too many things went squashy this week so that Mom and I ended up trying to save the damn day. week. Whatever. *sigh*

Dad is moving up on my "Idiots of the Year" list fast. Right next to the Telekom and the stupid tax authorities. The latter needs a serious spanking while the former totally messed up.

E-mails we sent at the end of September/beginning of October as well as those we were supposed to receive (private and company ones), went missing in the Big Cable Spaghetti the telephone company caused during their so-called "maintenance" over the last three months.

[info]barker9, that means, your e-mail with the ideas was probably in the batch as well. I'll send it again today. *headdesk*

Phew, and here I was wondering why clients didn't answer or why we didn't get any contracts. O_o

I have to admit I still prefer the "real paper and phone call" way of dealing with contracts and all that. At least there is the chance of getting lost not so high and, uh, deadly. *snorts*

And to put the cherry on top of this week, the tax authorities don't believe that my mom doesn't own a mobile phone and that we rarely use the phone for private calls. Hello? Internet! *facepalm*

Now we have until Monday to go through the phone bills of last year and mark our private calls (we have a collective bill for company and private calls). As if we have nothing better to do! We have about 5-7 private calls per months out of 200-250 calls. More important work gets pushed aside and I could scream! ARGH!

*grabs pillow and hot chocolate*

"I am Miss BlahBlah calling for the ShuShu Cooperation. I would like to ask you a few questions about your company's preference in colours."

"We like black and white."

"Uhm, ye-yes, ahm, well..."

"That's all? Great, BYE!"

*headdesk* This one of these moments where I could really use a big, fluffy cushion to scream into. I don't want to scare the neighbours, you know.

*pokes phone and glares at it*

I am reading fanfiction at work. *world faints*

Not-work-safe fanfiction. (More precisely Pee Wee Football and the Superbowl - Tim/Julie ♥ FNL)

It is ridiculious funny how fast I am able to switch from that fanfic to work-related windows when others come in. In under a second. Practice makes indeed perfect. HA!

Not to mention that little voice in the back of my head does this silly "You have no idea what I am doing" dance and sticks it imaginary tongue out. =D

I AM A REBEL! *rotflmao*

Whaaa, yellow, waaaay too tall and creepy looking (with all the cables) tower crane! Came out of nowhere and is swinging back and forth and it feels like it's going to poke the office window any minute even though it's behind the houses on the other side of the street.

O_o

Hmm, or it could be just me getting swoony from all that twirling it does...

Where the heck did the time go? It feels like I missed half of the month. O_o Work had me really going right round...

And I barely made it for trick or icon. Heh.

No really flashy but hopefully still amusing Halloween Icons for the next few days. :)

Eyes glowing or blinking and a ghost going all, well, glowy. *grins*

...use Kleenex® to save the day.

Paper was out and I needed something to write on LIKE RIGHT NOW, so I used Kleenex® as paper.

Very important appointment notes are now safely stored on tissue - the squashy USB stick of the future. *lulz*

...yes, keeps the doctor except for the bi-yearly check-up away. Ha! =D

Had mine this morning at 8.30am and was in, check, out. In less than half an hour. Everything is fine and working. *squishes toothbrush*

After that I decided to end my misery of silence and brought the radio/CD player from our kitchen to the office: Looks mighty pretty when playing because of the see-through glass over the CD. ♥

*hums and goes back to stupid paperwork of DOOM*

Wha?
Ah, crap, office computer has no speakers. Wanted to drool over [info]koryou's rec of the Kane gig in Cleveland.

WTF? And I noticed that just now? O_o

There's something wrong with... whatever.

No wonder I hear the silence... *snorts*

Went for the pizza. Won hands down. Yum. =D

An hour until I finished work for today but we have to decide in the next half an hour what we want to eat because the Pizza place and the Chinese restaurant close at 3pm for a two-hours break. I need food before that.

De-ci-sions-De-ci-sions... *gets all swoony*

I haven't eaten Chinese since March (I think, could be April) and I'm not really in the mood for it but we want something hot and maybe spicey since the weather is rainy, chilly and way too windy. Gah.

Though if we go for Pizza we could order the big, hot ones wth tuna and stuff plus the really yummy pizza bread with just olive oil and tomato sauce on it, we will be hot all day long, that's for sure.

Jury is still out. Crap. I am hungry. And cold. Stupid weather. Meh.

You really gotta love office supplies catalogs. Ours was just delievered. ^______^

Now that time of horror has come, they offer stuff to go with your order. *bounce*

Like, if you buy HP cartridges, you get a bag of ghosts and pumpkins marsh mallows. If you order paper, they'll give you a bag of Haribo jelly vampires. And if you decide to buy a hard drive, you get a complete Halloween party-set. =D

No idea if we need anything from above...
